About Me
Hi, I'm Bryce Lindsey, a creative game designer with a love for immersive worlds, precise mechanics, and stories that make you feel something. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Pastoral Care and Counseling, where I study things like grief and loss counseling in order to help people grow through life's challenges. I am a deeply empathetic person and care about people. That work heavily influences how I approach game development. To me, games are more than just entertainment. They're a form of art, and like all great art, they have the power to move us. My goal is to create experiences that invite players into moments of reflection, challenge their perspectives, and offer space for emotional and even therapeutic engagement. Whether it's through storytelling, atmosphere, or mechanics that require presence and intentionality, I want my work to resonate on a deeper level.
Some of my favorite games that have inspired me are RPGS like Knights of the Old Republic and Kingdom Hearts, FPS games like Half Life and Counter-Strike, as well as older MMOs like classic World of Warcraft and Toontown. Outside of both playing and making games, you'll often find me reading fantasy, theology or philosophy books, having deep, intentional conversations with friends, or sketching out my next creative idea that blends art, design, and personal growth.
